One percent of all our sales goes to Art Start, who nurture New York City's underserved youth through consistent creative workshops inside homeless shelters, alternative to incarceration programs, and partnering youth agencies.

Integral to OFFHOURS is our belief in the importance of rest, supportive spaces, and creative play as vital ingredients to good mental health and well being. We're a strong proponent of the notion that creative practice —in its many forms— can be a powerful catalyst for not only restoration and healing, but in the case of Art Start; guidance and empowerment, too. This is one of the many reasons we're delighted to support this genuinely life changing work being carried out in New York City by donating 1% of all our sales to Art Start.

Art Start workshops are designed to not only instill self confidence, and open channels for creative expression, but to teach those involved to ask important questions, think critically, and help them pursue meaningful life opportunities.

For youth experiencing a challenging time, these workshops provide a source of consistency, whilst encouraging a wealth of personal development through hands on music and art projects. Unlike traditional social services or education, the workshops also become a space where participants can bond and open up through the mentorship of their teaching artists, transforming a time of instability and transition into one of personal growth and development.
